In mid-June, we learned that box-office and online ticketing services provider Vendini suffered a data breach that impacted several of the company’s customers. At the time, we only knew of the University of Michigan, but it turns out that several other organizations have been affected as well.

DataBreaches.net has been monitoring the situation and has found that around 30 other companies are affected, but the actual number could be much higher.

The list includes Butler University (411 affected), Asheville Community Theatre (around 20,000 individuals affected), Kirby Cultural Arts Complex, Central Piedmont Community College (approximately 12,000 affected), and South Orange Performing Arts Center (6,619 affected).

Lerner Theatre, Thalian Hall, Wildey Theater, Lexington Children’s Theatre, Caterpillar Visitors Center, Touchstone Theatre, and Cedar Crest College are also impacted.

Vendini hasn’t named the affected customers and, as DataBreaches highlights, the company is not required to make the patron notifications.

Keep an eye on DataBreaches.net to see if you’re a customer of the organizations hit by the Vendini security breach.
