If you don't know who Tenacious D is I could say that your whole life is meaningless. Tenacious D is the "Greatest Band on Earth" and they sing the "best song in the world". They had to, unless the devil would have eaten their souls.

I should stop with the mumbo-jumbo right about now and report that Tenacious D has become The Pick of Xbox. This means that beginning
with December 1, Xbox Live members can download some exclusive Tenacious D content onto their 360 consoles. They will have available some free videos from Tenacious D's latest album The Pick of Destiny.

Xbox Live Gold members will have the opportunity to go head to head with the band during the 90-minute Xbox Live "Game with Fame" session. If you didn't already know, please note that Tenacious D has two members, Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Yeah, the same Jack Black who starred in The School of Rock feature film, launched back in 2003.

Kyle Gass is also knows as KG, Kage and Rage Kage, and alongside Jack Black, he starred in the Tenacious D TV series. Their style is a merge of rock with folk metal, comedy rock and "stoner rock". The first two episodes of the Tenacious D TV series were first aired on HBO back in 1997. The other four episodes were not aired until 1999. The show depicted the story of a band trying to make it in the music business.

Their first album was released back in 2001 and debuted on the 38th position in the YK. Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl played drums for Tenacious D on their first album, Page McConnel of Phish played keyboard and Warren Fitzgerald of the Vandals played guitar.
