Nintendo has officially revealed the ten free games from the Nintendo Entertainment System that will arrive tomorrow for Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors, meaning those that bought the handheld platform at full price before the price cut for it was announced at the beginning of the month.

Nintendo's 3DS arrived earlier this year and managed to sell quite a few units, although falling short of the company's own estimates. Sadly, things quickly turned sour, as the steep price, low number of quality titles and the lack of online support, made people refrain from buying the device.

As such, in order to prevent a massive failure, Nintendo confirmed at the beginning of August that a major price cut will be made, slashing the original price from $249.99 to just $169.99.

In order to keep people who bought the game console at full price happy, the company also informed them that they'll be turned into 3DS 'Ambassadors', meaning they'll get 20 free downloadable games for their device.

Now, the first wave of 10 titles is getting ready to be released onto the Nintendo 3DS eShop tomorrow. In order to inform 3DS ambassadors about what they'll actually be able to download, the company has now published the complete list of Nintendo Entertainment System games that have been remastered for the 3DS.

Besides the ones already confirmed back at the beginning of the month, like Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda, other games are now known, including: Metroid, Open Tournament Golf, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi, and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

All these games will be available for download from the eShop for free tomorrow, while regular 3DS owners will received them at a later time, for a price.

Another batch of 10 free games, this time from the Game Boy Advance era, will also be released later this year, and will include things like Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.
