Brittany Murphy, aged only 32, passed away on Sunday after going into cardiac arrest in her own home. An autopsy was performed but it could not establish the cause of it, which is now pending toxicology tests. TMZ has learned that Murphy had no less than 10 drugs on her bedside table, while police are investigating into the leak of said information, Examiner reports.

Professor and the Director of Toxicology Dr. Bruce Goldberger is telling the media that, if the reports as to the drugs found in the star’s home are accurate, her death echoes that of Heath Ledger, yet another young star who passed away after combining prescription pills. As of now, though, nothing has been made official as to Murphy’s demise – and neither will it be for another 4 to 6 weeks, until the toxicology tests are concluded.

According to the police notes taken on the scene, there were 10 bottles of prescription pills in Murphy’s room. “According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins,” TMZ writes.

“No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered,” the notes also say. Still, it is believed that combining the above-mentioned pills may have had a strong impact on the actress’ heart, which eventually lead to her untimely death. Since this was information that should not have gone public, the LA Coroner’s Office is now investigating the leak, Examiner also says.

“TMZ has been able to obtain details on prescription drugs allegedly found at Murphy’s house. The drugs included depression medications, anti-anxiety pills, blood pressure remedies, migraine medicine, and painkillers. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter is ‘furious’ about the leak. TMZ also named one of the investigators in the case,” Examiner writes, offering no source to verify this report.

Brittany Murphy was found unconscious in her own bathroom by her mother. She and her husband, Simon Monjack, reportedly tried to “frantically” revive the actress but were unsuccessful in their attempts. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medica Center and pronounced dead on arrival. Toxicology results are to shed some light into the exact cause of death.
