Imangi Studios has announced a new version of their popular Temple Run game for iOS platforms which now supports the 1136x640 resolution of Apple’s new iPhone.

Temple Run 1.6 has been released for both iPhone and iPad. “In this update, we added support for iOS 6 and the new iPhone 5!” says Imangi.

The free game now offers support for the bigger screen size of the iPhone 5, as well as a new social sharing feature. Players can now share their scores via Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The usual bag of fixes is also included in this release.

In Temple Run, players put their reflexes to the test as they race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs while trying to escape from a bunch of zombie monkeys.

Players swipe to turn, jump and slide to avoid obstacles and collect coins. The game also features power-ups that makes every play unique, and allows gamers to see how far they can run next time.
