It looks like Imangi Studios and Warner Bros. have already reached an agreement to bring the amazingly popular Temple Run franchise on bigger screens.

The Hollywood Reporter publication claims Warner Bros. is already negotiating terms with Harry Potter producer David Heyman for the project.

The story behind the movie will center on an Indian Jones-like explorer who steals an idol from a temple and is now chased by demonic forces.

Those who have already played the game are already familiar with the story, but the studio has yet to approach a screenwriter to adapt it to the movie.

According to the cited source, the Temple Run Movie project will be overseen by Lynn Harris, the executive president for production at Warner Bros. No word on the cast yet, but stay tuned for more details on the upcoming Temple Run movie.
