Australian wireless carrier Telstra is reportedly getting ready for the launch of some appealing new devices on its network, including the Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia Z1, and it might do so come October 15.

No official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, but Ausdroid notes that this could indeed happen, based on leaked info coming from an anonymous tipster.

Additionally, the news site claims that Sony’s Xperia Z1 smartphone will arrive on shelves at the carrier with pricing similar to that of Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

Telstra’s business customers could be able to grab the device at $9 (€6.24) per month on a $60 (€41.6) plan, or at $0 per month on others.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3, on the other hand, has already been confirmed to be priced at $8 (€5.54) per month on the $80 (€55.4) Business Performance Plan or the $80 Every Day Connect Plan. It will be priced at $912 (€632) RRP outright.

For those out of the loop, we should note that both Xperia Z1 and Galaxy Note 3 were made official on September 4 during the IFA 2013 conference in Berlin.

Sony’s new flagship, Xperia Z1, arrives on the market with a 5-inch full HD screen, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM.

The handset also features 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back. The handset runs under Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, on the other hand, was unveiled with a larger 5.7-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 800 / Exynos Octa CPU inside, and 3GB of RAM.

The mobile phone features 32GB of internal memory, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top. More info on the arrival of the two handsets at Telstra should emerge soon, so keep an eye on this space for additional details on the matter.
