The short supply of its processor might be the cause of this

Telstra users waiting for the HTC One XL to arrive on shelves at the wireless carrier might have to wait a bit longer before being able to grab the smartphone.

Rumor has it that it has been pushed back by several weeks, and that it won’t make an appearance on Telstra’s network before mid-June.

No specific info on why the device got delayed has emerged so far, but the guys over at Ausdroid suggest that the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip inside the phone might be in short supply.

No official confirmation on the phone’s delay has been offered, so we’ll take this with a grain of salt for the time being.

One thing that is certain, however, is that the HTC One XL is set to make an appearance in Australia, with all of its LTE-capabilities inside.
