Telltale Games announced that both seasons of its narrative-driven adventure game The Walking Dead will become available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 home consoles on October 24.

The Wolf Among Us, another acclaimed creation from Telltale, based on a popular comic book, is also coming to current-gen platforms in November this year.

The company confirmed that both seasons consist of five individual episodes, just like the last-gen editions, with the first one also including the bonus episode 400 Days.

The adventure title will become available both in digital as well as in physical form, and boxed versions of the first two seasons are also on the way for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360.

For the time being, the developer did not mention what upgrades gamers can expect in the Xbox One and PS4 ports of the game, and Telltale has yet to release gameplay footage from either version.

Telltale has a pretty busy time ahead, as aside from the third season of The Walking Dead, confirmed at the San Diego Comic Con, and slated for the second half of 2015, the company is also undertaking some other, completely new projects.

Gearbox Software and the adventure game creator are teaming up in order to create Tales from the Borderlands, and the highly anticipated Game of Thrones series, based on George R. R. Martin's acclaimed A Song of Ice and Fire books, is also on the menu, sometime in the future.
