The development team at Telltale Games is not yet willing to offer any actual details about its Game of Thrones video game, which will be based on the HBO series that in turn follows the storyline created by R.R. Martin for his A Song of Ice and Fire book series, but a new teaser image has been offered to the community.

The symbol of the family which will be the stars of the coming experience is shown for the first time, an iron sword which runs down the length of a tree devoid of any leaves.

The quote associated to it states, “A wood of stubborn sentinel trees armored in grey-green needles, of mighty oaks, of Ironwoods as old as the realm itself.”

The IronFromIce hashtag is once again used, but Telltale Games has not said what it means or how the events that it will cover in its video game will be related to the wider world created by R.R. Martin.

The company has said that its title will follow the traditional formula of its episodic franchises and that it will deliver more details as the game moves closer to the 2015 launch date.

Joshua Rubin, who has previously worked on Destiny at Bungie, is working on the project, which will probably now receive more resources and attention after Telltale Games has delivered final episodes for both The Wolf Among Us season one and The Walking Dead season two.
