Raytel has just launched two new enhanced hands-free car kits, which are said to offer true voice activation with easy to remember voice commands, such as number and name dialing. As you may already know, the true voice activation is the standard of all TellPhone systems and is independent from the mobile phone's own voice tags.

Both systems include an illuminated LCD screen which displays all important information, such as Caller ID, phonebook entries, battery status, and signal strength, missed and dialed calls. They also download the mobile phone's entire phonebook (up to 10,000 entries) and support multiple phone numbers per contact.

TellPhone systems integrated into the car's audio system are based on the latest DSP technology for what is said to be a crystal clear sound and echo cancellation. Both systems include up to 4 different user setups with independent phone and language settings (English, Spanish and French), and, moreover, each user is automatically recognized when entering the car.

The TellPhone 5000 is 'the basic offer' of the manufacturer, as it comes with a wireless remote control and a separate high resolution illuminated LCD display, and both of them can be mounted independently at any desired location in the car.

The wireless multi-function remote control uses a rotary control to offer easy and fast access to all functions. Furthermore, the TellPhone 4200 has a combined command and display module and all the other functions featured by the 5000 model.
