Memory upgrades vendor Crucial.com is inviting all Mac-heads to enter the Dinner with the Woz sweepstakes for the opportunity to meet and dine with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. No joke!

Participants needn’t make any purchases, as the only requirement to enter the Dinner with the Woz sweepstakes is to visit the sweepstakes page at http://www.crucial.com/mac2012 between May 17 and June 15, 2012 and answer a few simple questions about their Mac computer usage.

Contestants will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win tickets to Silicon Valley and meet up with Woz, America’s favorite geek, and longtime friend of Steve Jobs. Entrants are also eligible to win a DRAM and SSD upgrades for their Mac.

In light of the contest, Fabrice Sabo, e-commerce marketing manager of Crucial.com, commented: “Our team of Mac memory experts knows the unique memory requirements of Mac computer systems perhaps better than anyone else, as we have been servicing the Mac community for more than a decade.”

“Crucial Mac memory upgrades enable more speed, effortless multitasking, and an enhanced multimedia experience for Mac users at a fraction of the cost of a new system,” added Sabo.

“We are excited to be able to team up with Steve Wozniak to thank the Mac community for their years of loyalty with an exclusive opportunity to spend part of an evening with a true innovator whose role in revolutionizing the computer industry helped chart a course for many of the technological innovations that we enjoy today,” he said.

Crucial.com used this opportunity to beef up the offerings on its online Mac memory upgrade area with easy access to the Mac System Scanner tool and an expanded resource section.
