Later this month, the free-to-play fighter Tekken Revolution will receive an update that comes with a new playable character, Eliza.

Namco Bandai introduces a brand new character to the series, a female vampire brawler apparently suffering from narcolepsy.

The crowd at the San Diego Comic Con earlier this year voted the character out of three possible choices, narrowed down from ten through a Facebook poll orchestrated by series creator Katsuhiro Harada.

Back then, the character went by the generic name Female Vampire and consisted of only a series of drawings, but the developers have been hard at work and now the character is alive and kicking on the fighter's engine.

ATP reports that Eliza will be available in Japan starting December 19, with other regions surely following shortly after.

A video showcase of the new character has also been released, highlighting some of the moves in Eliza's offensive arsenal.
