Rumors are circling the web as to a PlayStation 3 version of Tekken Dark Resurrection will be released soon. The original source of this rumor/information is neogaf. Apparently, Tekken DR will be offered as a downloadable PlayStation 3 title.

Looks like the PS3
version of Tekken DR will feature full HD graphics and Jinpachi will be introduced as a playable character. An exact release or pricing were not yet announced but be sure I will inform you as soon as I have some confirmation.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is the seventh game in the Tekken franchise and it was meant to be a PSP exclusive. Not anymore, if we are to believe neogaf. The game features over 35 stages, some brand new, some remade from the previous Tekken games. As regarding the story, Tekken DR follows the conclusion of the Tekken 4 tournament, in which Heihachi Mishima defeated Kazuya Mishima, and Heihachi led him to Honmaru planning to let both his son Kazuya and his grandson, Jin Kazama, battle and steal their respective Devil Genes.

Jin manages to defeat them both, after which he flies away, leaving them unconscious. After that, Jack-4 robots come, set to kill Heihachi. Kazuya and Hiehachi team up for a short period and start fighting the robots. But this doesn't last long as of all a sudden, Kazuya turns into Devil Kazuya and escapes through the roof.

Heihachi is left to fight the robots alone, and he is quickly overcome by them. The robots self-destruct, making it seem like Heihachi died. As the robots explode, they manage to awake Jinpachi Mishima from his 50 year slumber. I'm not going to reveal the whole plot so if you want to know how the story turns out, be sure to play the game.

The one thing I would like to is what definition the game can display at. Yes, it is probably 1080p, but if that wasn't available at the time the game was released, the full definition might have been 720p or 1080i, which isn't full definition by today. Thanks.
