Finally Namco has decided to roll out some proof that Tekken 6 is coming along nicely. For fans of the series, it's been a painstaking time of waiting to see how the game performs after the last announcement from the developer. Not long ago, it has also been revealed that a new character was coming to the series (fat Bob). Although the gameplay footage below doesn't include him, we'll discuss a few details about both the video and the new character.

Given that you've already clicked play to see what this GameTrailers video has to show, you will have noticed that the image isn't exactly of the best quality. Not to worry, Tekken 6 is most likely going to look as good or even better than Virtua Fighter 5, so rest assured - moves, combos and characters is everything you need to worry about right now. Those and online play, of course.

Check out Lei Wulong's new moves! While the Jackie Chan clone still features all of his basic moves, there are some new ones also and those who have Lei for a favorite character will have surely noticed which those are. More than that, you will also see that right after a counter attack, the character will have a red shadowy thingy stretching out of his arms and feet. It should be the equivalent of a charged attack as long as this goes on, by the way it looks.

Overall, Tekken 6 looks pretty much the same as Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection in terms of gameplay and camera angles, with better visuals of course. I for one can's wait to see Bob in action. Which brings us to our next point of discussion...:

Bob's translated story, courtesy of Sdtekken.com is available below:

With his toned body and handsome face he was very popular. However, when he was unable to beat opponents who were larger than he was, Bob became determined to engineer his body to increase power and weight, while maintaining speed. For this reason, Bob disappeared from the fighting world. A few years later, after completing his body engineering, everyone around him is shocked at his appearance! Although people are not taking Bob seriously anymore, he is confident about his newfound strength. To test his newfound power, he enters The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6.

That's Bob in the picture to the top left side of the article. Check back in every once in a while as Namco is surely ready to make new announcements regarding Tekken 6, given that it's shaping up so well.
