Video game companies Namco Bandai and Nintendo have announced that they are collaborating in order to launch the upcoming Tekken 3D Prime Edition in Europe on February 17 of next year.

Nintendo is set to be responsible for the sale, the marketing and the distribution of the new fighting game both in Europe and in Australia while Namco Bandai will remain the official publisher of the title.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition will allow those who own a Nintendo 3DS handheld to experience the King of Iron Fist Tournament in a completely new way, with more added realism and dynamic movement.

There are more than 40 characters for gamers to choose from and there are completely new stages to fight on, specifically created in order to take advantage of the three dimensional capabilities of the new device.

The cartridge for Tekken 3D Prime Edition will also include a full length computer generated movie, Blood Vengeance, which details a series of events linked to the game.
