The Tegra 5 Logan SoC will boast Kepler graphics capabilities

Kepler is the name of the architecture at the base of graphics processing units like the NVIDI GeForce GTX 600 and GTX 700 series, for desktops.

Since it can't exactly offer anything more than Qualcomm, Samsung and their ilk in terms of ARM performance, NVIDIA needs to play to its strengths.

And since Tegra 4 has been showing a pitiful marketing prowess, Tegra 5 Logan needs to be impressive indeed.

According to recent reports, NVIDIA is already developing a Logan-powered slate, possibly a self-branded tablet.

Unfortunately, that's all we know. Well, that and the fact that it will be a different slate from the Microsoft Surface version 2.

If NVIDIA goes with the own-brand plan, it will have its work cut out for it, since it will be facing its very own OEMs.
