The teeny tiny cat featured in the photo above might be only 5 inches (approximately 12.7 centimeters) tall, but this does not mean that it does not have some really big plans for the future.

In a nutshell, this feline hopes that, once measured by the folks behind the Guinness Book of Records, it will not only be crowned the world's smallest cat, but will also go down in history as the shortest kitten to have ever lived.

According to Mirror, the adorably small lady feline is named Pixel. It belongs to a woman named Tiffani who now lives in California, US, and its mom, Fizz Girl, holds the previous record for the world's smallest cat.

Thus, Pixel's mom is said to only measure 6 inches (roughly 15.2 cemtimeters) in height. Then again, when compared to this little cutie, it might strike people as just a tad Godzilla-ish, some might want to argue.

Talking about the ups and downs of sharing a house with such tiny cats, Pixel's owner Tiffani said, “Even people that aren't cat people go crazy for them. They say about how cute they are and how they want to take them straight home with them.”

“We have to move very slowly when we walk so we don't step on anybody. Everyone of them has been stepped on or kicked once because it's just what happens in a house of munchkin cats,” she added.
