14 DAY TRIAL // She'd have every reason in the world not to be smiling today, yet YouTube user Kait is doing just that. Her “My Secrets” video has just gone viral because it offers a good explanation for her smile: she has the best guardian angel ever.
At the same time, Kait just made one of the most touching and inspiring “It Gets Better” videos imaginable.
Her mother committed suicide in October this year. For reasons Kait doesn't go into, she hanged herself in the woods and it was the teen who found her.
“My beautiful mom would want me to be happy. She loved to see me smile,” Kait says with handwritten notes in the video that moved thousands.
She also knows that her mom is now in “a better place,” but she's using her own heartbreaking example to tell others that suicide is never a solution.
“GET HELP” and “Life gets better” are Kait's messages to the world. No one should be in her place.
