Jared Michael was clearly way too close to the train track

Things didn't go precisely as expected for a teenager called Jared Michael when he recently tried to take a selfie while standing in dangerously close proximity to a railway.

As you can see in the video embedded below, a train passes right behind him while he was preparing to snap the picture. And he was clearly way too close to the train track, as the engineer stretches his leg and kicks Michael directly in the head.

Well, I don't know what the mechanic was trying to do and if it really was his intention to hit Michael, but he surely demonstrated why the boy shouldn't have been so close to a moving train.

The teenager's reaction after the kick will leave many of you baffled. Instead of understanding the risks of standing so close to a moving train, he exclaims, “Wow that guy just kicked me in the head! I think I got that on film!”

Michael posted the 10-second video on YouTube, saying: “I tried to take a selfie while a train passed a "safe" distance behind. I guess I was still too close and got kicked in the head. I messed up.”

I just hope he learned his lesson and realized that something much worse could have happened.
