14 DAY TRIAL // Sophie Guite was arrested and charged for domestic violence after beating her husband with a spatula, leaving visible marks on his forehead. The 19-year-old, recently married, flipped out for some unknown reason and attacked her husband, Jerry Conary, with a kitchen utensil.
After sending an unusual text to her friend saying her husband had hit her, the police was noticed and intervened to solve the domestic issue. Officers went to the couple's house in Winterport, Maine and discovered that the alleged beating husband was actually the victim of a harsh spatula attack.
The newlyweds and the woman's brother, who was also in the house, were interviewed by officers in order to correctly assess the situation. After several talks, it was discovered that the teenage bride was actually the predominant aggressor and that “she had struck her husband in the forehead with a spatula, leaving marks,” according to Mail Online.
The couple, married just for a few months, may seem to have some issues, as none of the parts wanted to come clean about the reasons of the conflict. The spatula aggressor was taken into police custody and will be required to make an appearance in court. Sophie was released on a $400 (€292) bail after being arrested on domestic violence assault charges.
