Earlier this week, a teenager in Australia enjoyed one too many sips of alcoholic beverages and decided to rob a gas station in Ipswich, Queensland.

Unlike other criminals, who opt for a classic black sock with holes in it or a sky mask when committing a robbery, this teenager chose to hide his identity with the help of a flower pot that he put on his head.

As shown in the picture next to this article, the flower pot did not cover his face all that well, and chiefly kept his hairdo concealed.

Apparently, the teenager's choice of weapon was also fairly imaginative. Thus, the teen, whose name is Steven Frank Steele, saw fit to accessorize his light brown flower pot with a chainsaw.

According to Daily Mail, Steven walked in a 7-Eleven gas station at about 4.30 in the morning on Monday and headed straight for the shop assistants.

He used the running chainsaw to threaten them and demanded that they hand over whatever money they had, the same source details.

To prove he was anything but willing to leave the gas station empty-handed, the teenager used the chainsaw to destroy a window and some display racks.

After that, he mooned the shop assistants, grabbed a bottle of soda and made a run for it.

When leaving the gas station, Steven chanced to come across a park car and caused serious damage to it as well.

Once alone, the gas station employees who were involved in the incident called the police, told them what had just happened, and asked for help.

While on their way to the scene of the crime, police officers spotted Steven walking down the street and, based on information provided by the shop assistants, figured out that he was the person responsible for the robbery.

The day after, the teenager's chainsaw was found hidden in a bush growing close to the station. Officers have reasons to believe that the power tool that Steven used to rob the gas station does not belong to him, but was stolen.

Steven Frank Steele is scheduled to make an appearance in court this coming March 3. Until then, he is to remain in police custody.
