Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell appeal to MTV to remove Abraham from the show

There is more drama in the near future for the hit reality series “Teen Mom” being aired by MTV, as the main stars don't seem to be seeing eye to eye anymore. Particularly, Farrah Abraham seems to be rubbing her co-stars the way to such a degree, that they've actually petitioned to have her fired.

Basically, Aimimber Portwood, 23, and Catelynn Lowell, 22, are telling MTV that it's either Farrah or them, but not all of them put together. After the network has aired a series of catch-up specials last month, they've been probing around to see how to bring the series back, according to an insider who spoke with Us Weekly.

The main reason to axe Farrah is her adult entertainment past. The two co-stars are mortified at the thought that their children would be hanging with someone who's been in the business and who might introduce them to some forbidden things. “They don't want their kids on a show where someone's talking about [adult] toys,” says the insider.

The bad news for Farrah is that MTV is actually considering their request and looking into firing her from the reality series. “They would definitely consider dumping Farrah to get the other girls,” add the same source.

But in case she does get booted from the show, she'll probably land on her feet, since she has several other projects lined up. Since she's been on “Teen Mom,” she's been busy starting other ventures, such as starring in on VH1's “ Couples Therapy,” as well as pursuing a musical career.

Her latest single, “Blowin,” was premiered just two days ago, despite the fact that it did not rock the industry's foundations, nor did it have much of a chance of landing in the Billboard charts. The lyrics may be reminiscent of some unusual practices the Holy Church does not agree with, but, she insists, the only blowing she's referring to in the song is to her detractors, that she wants to swat away with a powerful wind.

The mother of 5-year-old Sophia brushes off the claims by telling Us Weekly, “I have my own life,” which was minutely documented in the press, as she revealed scandal after scandal in the last month. Of course, this move was considered by many in the industry as a desperate attempt to remain in the spotlight.

It's clear that the reality star has recognized the power of fame, because in the lyrics of her new song she admits at one point that “Being a star is better than not knowing who you are.” However, the jury is still debating if Farrah definition of star is in fact something to be desired by other people.
