Each year, fans vote for their favorites in music, film, and television, with the winners receiving top honors at the Teen Choice Awards, perhaps the ceremony with the most categories. The 2014 edition took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night, with One Direction, Selena Gomez, and “The Fault in Out Stars” being the biggest winners.

Below is a complete list of all those who took home the surfboard that serves as the official Teen Choice statuette.

The teen drama “The Fault in Our Stars,” based on the best-selling novel of the same name by John Green, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as two cancer patients who fall in love even though they know their days are numbered, took home the most awards in the movie category.

However, “Divergent,” which also stars Elgort and Woodley, this time as brother and sister, also won plenty of awards, as did another popular film franchise based on a young adult novel series, “The Hunger Games,” with its second installment “Catching Fire.” In November this year, “Hunger Games” returns in theaters with “Mockingjay Part 1,” the first part of the final chapter.

“22 Jump Street,” the sequel to “21 Jump Street,” also took home a few awards, including one each for Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, the leading stars.

The television category was entirely dominated by “Pretty Liars” and “Vampire Diaries,” the latter proving that vampires are still a thing, even if they’re no longer as big as they were on the big screen a couple of years ago.

NBC’s singing competition The Voice also took home a few awards, including one for judges / mentors Adam Levine and Shakira, who was Christina Aguilera’s replacement on the most recent season.

In music, British boyband One Direction took home 8 awards, including Choice Music group. Sadly for fans, they were not present at the festivities because they are currently on tour: had it not been for a previous engagement, they would not have skipped the gala.

Selena Gomez was honored with the special Ultimate Choice Award. She was present at the ceremony. As a side note, her ex Justin Bieber got exactly zero love.

As you can see below, the awards also included a Fashion category and one for social media activities.
