Demi Lovato, co-host of the Teen Choice Awards 2012, which took place over the weekend, accidentally revealed a bit more than she had hoped to on the red carpet at the teen-centered event.
As the photo attached to this article will confirm, Demi looked positively stunning during the red carpet ceremony, bringing something of a warrior vibe in this short feathered mini-dress and killer heels.
Red Carpet Fashion Awards IDs the dress as a “Falguni & Shane Peacock Spring 2012 geometric embellished mini dress,” which was missing the leather harness rocked by the model on the runway.
She matched the fierce dress with sky-high Christian Louboutin “Exagona” criss-cross platform peep-toe sandals and a ponytail.
Her look on the red carpet won her major points with fashion gurus – that is, until pictures showed that she was actually revealing too much came out online.
The dress also features, besides the geometrical pattern and the feathered hem, sheer panels on the side.

As we speak, voices online are saying that Demi should have paid more attention to the dress she chose for the red carpet, especially considering that this was an event for kids and teens and not more mature audiences.
Then again, accidents do happen. Just ask Francia Raisa, star of ABC's “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.”
The
Daily Mail has photos of her in the most embarrassing situation possible: as she posed on the red carpet, a sudden gust of wind blew her skirt up in what could have been a Marilyn Monroe moment, had it been planned in advance.
To her credit, Raisa did make the most of the situation by laughing it off, immediately after she covered herself.
