Ashton Kutcher got disrespected at last night’s Teen Choice Awards 2011. As he was making his way to the stage to be handed one of the surfboard awards, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas dissed him just as cameras panned on her.

As the video below will confirm, Fergie did not agree that Kutcher should have won Choice Male: Romantic Comedy since she was understandably rooting for her husband, Josh Duhamel.

It happened right before Kutcher used Katy Perry’s song “Teenage Dream” to say his thank-you for the win and, by the looks of things, it wasn’t really a joke – or, if it was, it probably didn’t come out as Fergie wanted it to.

“Fergie did not seem too pleased by Kutcher’s win, making a throat slitting gesture after his name was announced, likely as a playful response to husband Josh Duhamel’s loss in the category,” OMG! Yahoo writes.

The only thing is, there was hardly any indication that Fergie was joking. While such a gesture is to be expected especially at kid-centric awards show, where there’s hardly the spirit of competition present at bigger galas, the singer seemed dead serious.

As she lowered her hand, she didn’t even smile, it is being said in online forums. Moreover, there’s a distinct expression of disgust and disapproval on her face that she could have hardly faked.

Either way, Kutcher didn’t seem to notice her diss or, if he did, he chose to pay no attention to it.

He took to the stage to thank the fans who had voted for him as winner in the category and burst out into song, saying he’d rather express himself that way.

As we also reported earlier today, not only did he manage to get people up from their seats and dancing, but he also got them to sing along – including Taylor Swift, officially the biggest winner of the night.
