Not that this should come as a big surprise to anyone, but Courtney Stodden, dubbed “Teen Bride” in the press, and husband Doug Hutchison have just landed their own reality show, thanks to the deal they signed with super-producer Roy Bank.

The two have long confirmed that they’d been approached by various networks for their own unscripted series, following the media frenzy their surprise wedding generated.

Also then, they said they were in talks with many producers for the show, but they declined to offer more details about it.

Radar Online has confirmation that the couple signed with Roy Bank, president of Merv Griffin Entertainment, who will produce the show that will most likely document their life as newlyweds.

“We are so excited to be working with Roy Bank, a great professional in this business,” the two say in a joint statement to Radar about working with the man behind “Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader.”

“We are proud that we were able to find the perfect producer for our reality show and are thrilled to be working with this prestigious production company,” Courtney and Doug add in the same statement.

As for what the show will be about, it’s not hard to venture a guess: given than he’s 51 and she’s nearly 17, it will most definitely show their life as newlyweds and how they manage to overcome the huge difference.

Courtney’s mother and manager Krista Stodden says they chose Bank as a producer because they feel he alone would be able to paint a fair picture of them for the press and the audiences.

“The reason we went with Roy is because we feel that he is the man who will be able to place Courtney’s show in front of the best network for her,” Krista tells Radar.

“They are going to be very, very open about their lives. They want everybody to see their life. Nothing is off limits,” she adds.

A release date has yet to be announced.
