If you're a fan of coming-of-age indie movies, here's one you should keep an eye out for. It's called “Little Birds,” stars two of the hottest young actresses of the day and has just gotten a brand new trailer.

Juno Temple and Kay Panabaker play good friends stuck in a dreary small town on the Salton Sea. More than anything, they believe they can run from their problems.

So when a boy comes in to tell them that LA might be just the place for them, they jump at the chance.

In almost no time, though, they find themselves involved in a life of petty crime they did not want and, what's worse, can't escape from.

Directed by newcomer Elgin James, “Little Birds” seems to feature a heartbreaking narrative against astounding cinematography, and an impressive score to boot.

It also stars Leslie Mann, Kate Bosworth, and Kyle Gallner, and will be out on July 13.
