American rock musician Ted Nugent recently went on a "killing spree" and gunned down a total of 455 wild pigs inhabiting the central regions of Texas.

While some people might frown upon the musician's actions, Ted Nugent maintains that his killing these animals benefited both the natural ecosystems in the Texas Hill Country and several people who got to feast on the pigs' meat.

According to Huffington Post, Ted Nugent’s decision to gun down these animals stemmed from the musician's being fully aware of the fact that wild pigs more often than not destroy the landscapes in central Texas.

As well as this, Ted Nugent wished to show animal rights activists that the practice of killing various creatures for the purpose of eating them is by no means a blameworthy one.

“We distributed tons of the most delicious pork to the soup kitchens and homeless shelters of this state. Everything we did was perfect – win, win, win. I had to adjust my halo as I was machine-gunning hogs,” the guitarist told members of the press.

It may very well be that Ted Nugent's actions helped both the environment and those financially challenged, yet it appears that the musician also killed these wild pigs for the purpose of annoying Bill Maher and his fellow animal rights activists.

Hence the musician's making the following statements: “I’m the swine czar. I killed 455 hogs with my machine gun. I did it for Bill Maher and all those other animal rights freaks out there. My haters will hate me more for that.”

The machine gun Ted Nugent used to kill these pigs allegedly fires off a whopping 750 rounds per minute.

Add to this the fact that the musician resorted to a helicopter in order to track down and hunt the animals as efficiently as possible, and odds are the “animal rights freaks” the musician dedicated the killings to will not take lightly to his way of having a good time and helping both Mother Nature and those less fortunate.
