Video game publisher Tecmo Koei plans to launch all the titles for the upcoming Wii U home console from Nintendo in brick and mortar stores and on the virtual eShop at the same time, which would be a first for the new hardware platform.

The launch titles that Tecmo Koei is preparing for the Wii U include: Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge.

All of them are cheaper when bought via the eShop than in actual stores, by about 10 percent.

No other publishers have announced plans to offer their core launch titles for the Nintendo hardware via the eShop.

The Wii U launches in Japan on December 8 and gamers in the United States and in Europe get access to it before that, during November.
