Chinese device manufacturer Teclast, was also present at CES 2014 to show its latest attempt at stirring customers away from the iPad mini, the P89 mini.

The tablet features a 7.9 IPS screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and draws power from an Intel Z2580 processor with 1GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. Two cameras are also offered onboard, a 2MP frontal snapper and a 5MP back one.

The P89 mini should be a suitable iPad mini (first generation) replacement with its sleek aluminum case and thin design, so if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on the real-deal, the Chinese maker is will be offering the device outside Asia too.

The slate runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will ship for an affordable €100 / $136.
