14 DAY TRIAL // We’ll admit that we had our doubts about Rob Zombie as a director, but his 2005 “Devil’s Rejects” totally sold us on. Above is a brand new teaser for his latest project.
Called “The Lords of Salem” and shot as an indie last year, it’s finally been picked up for national release and will arrive in theaters next spring.
The first trailer looks like typical Rob Zombie fare, including plenty of witches, blood, Satan worshipping, and old-school horror.
It stars Sheri Moon Zombie (as was to be expected), Bruce Davison, Ken Foree, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Patricia Quinn and Judy Geeson.
“Heidi, a radio station DJ, receives a wooden box containing a record. Heidi listens and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of Salem’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad or are the Lords of Salem returning for revenge on modern day Salem?” reads a brief synopsis of the film.
