Teaser Trailer for 'ParaNorman' Says Being Different Is Great

Heroes are extraordinary people who act in extraordinary circumstances, when normal people don't dare or don't even know they're supposed to do anything. Norman is one of these people, though his secret “power” is that of speaking to the dead.

“ParaNorman” doesn't arrive in theaters until August 2012, but a first teaser trailer has already been released – and it's getting a lot of people talking.

Norman's neighborhood is being invaded by all kinds of undead creatures and he seems the only one able (or willing) to do something about it.

As if that wasn't enough, he also has to deal with grownups' hardheadedness, but he's determined to overcome obstacles to save the (or his) world.

“You don't become a hero by being normal,” the tagline of the upcoming animated film says. Might as well be ParaNorman.
