On HTC Legend devices, pre-loaded with a My Tracks app with SRM

When it comes to sports, Tour de France is, undoubtedly, one of the most popular events of the year. Fans all over the world would watch their favorite teams and cyclists during the long race, via various channels. One these channels would be Google Maps, which enables fans keep up with the progress of Team HTC-Columbia.

What makes this team so special is that they use Android-powered phones (HTC Legend) pre-loaded with a special version of the My Tracks app with SRM, through which they share real-time data from the Tour de France. Users interested in following the team along the race should head over to google.com/mytrackstour, where they can see riders’ real-time location, along with a wide range of other pieces of information on them, including power, heart rate, cadence and speed.

Tour de France is 3,642 kilometers long, but that special version of My Tracks application for Android with SRM would enable fans to stay up to date with all they want on the riders for the entire length of the competition. The google.com/mytrackstour special page put in place by the Internet giant offers users the possibility to track all the members of Team HTC – Columbia on Google Maps. For what it's worth, this can prove to be a pretty interesting way to stay connected with your favorite team in this competition.
