Video game developer Valve has released a new update for Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch via its Steam digital distribution service, which will be applied as soon as the player runs his client.

All the changes are linked to the Source game engine and they include:

- fixed some players not being able to launch the game due to a problem with Mss32.dll
- fixed a regression in circular progress bars

Earlier during the week, Valve has also introduced better Big Picture support to the three games, which required the deployment of another update.

The trio of games has a strong and long-term fan community, which expected Valve to keep them up to date and quickly fix any issue that they had noticed and then reported.
