Team 17 is known all around the world for making Worms. They also made Lemmings, Body Blows and some other stuff nobody remembers, but everyone knows Worms, no matter how involved with gaming they are.

Worms became a cultural phenomenon, much like Atomic Bomberman did, and now the company behind it aims to deliver a brand-new original game, titled Flockers.

Flockers has been described as a "twisted blend of Lemmings inspired gameplay and Tim Burton style macabre," where players will assume control of a flock of sheep and will be tasked with (safely) guiding them to freedom, while avoiding various lethal hazards such as crushers, spinning saw blades and the likes.

Flockers is currently on its way to Steam Early Access, where it will launch on May 6, with 25 levels for now, although the company stated that more would be added at a later time.

The Early Access version will also come with Steam Workshop support, allowing players to share their creations, and with Steam leaderboards, for bragging rights.

Additionally, those who buy the game while it's in its Early Access phase will get it at a discounted price compared to its final launch cost and will also receive a digital artbook and Flockers' complete soundtrack.

Flockers will debut on Steam as an Early Access game, on May 6, going for £11.99 / $14.99 / €13.99.
