They say that one should always dress for the job they want, for the one they have. If this is true, trying to figure out what job 49-year-old Lorie Ann Hill might be interested in landing could prove quite an exercise in creative thinking.

Media reports say that, earlier this week, this woman showed up severely inebriated and wearing no pants to a school in the city of Wagoner in Oklahoma, US.

The incident occurred on Monday, which happened to be Lorrie Ann Hill's first day as a teacher at the Wagoner High School. One can only assume that, following this episode, the 49-year-old will have to embrace another career.

According to Daily Mail, the woman simply showed up on campus drunk and missing the lower half of her outfit for the day. She somehow managed to enter one of the classrooms at the Wagoner High School.

Lorie Ann Hill was eventually found leaning against one of the desks in this classroom by two other teachers, who tried to get her to stand up. The woman refused to, and told them to leave her alone because the room was her own.

The two teachers did not give up all that easily, and 49-year-old Lorie Ann Hill eventually ended up in the principal's office. Shortly after, the local police was alerted, and officers were sent to the scene of the incident.

By the time the police officers arrived at the Wagoner High School, the woman had more-or-less willingly reconsidered her choice of outfit. Thus, the 49-year-old teacher was wearing a pair of shorts that somebody had found and handed her.

“She was found in a room kind of disoriented,” Police Chief Bob Haley told the press in an interview concerning this peculiar incident. “By the time we got there she was in a room and wearing shorts,” Bob Haley went on to explain.

While searching the woman's car, officers found a cup that smelled like vodka. Lorrie Ann Hill was taken into custody but, because there was no way to prove that she consumed alcoholic beverages while driving to work, she was not charged with DUI. Still, she remained behind bars until Thursday.

Commenting on this newly hired teacher's behavior, a parent identified as Frank Sandiford said, “I don’t know, as an adult, I just don't know how you can be a professional teacher and teaching young people, and then show up drunk.”

For the time being, it is unclear whether this drinking and walking around with no pants on episode ended up costing Lorrie Ann Hill her job, or whether other teachers and students at the Wagoner High School are ready and willing to give her another chance.
