Teacher Arrested for Having a Relationship with a 15-Year-Old Student

My son was in contact with Christie David on a cell phone at the beginning of the 2012-2013 school yr.I left a voicemail on her cell phone stating that if she had any further contact with him i would turn her into the school board(among other things included in the voicemail).she sent me a text back on my sons cell stating that she was sorry and would never contact him again.I took him to check him back into walker valley high 3-4 weeks ago and she entered the main office where me and my son were setting on a couch waiting on the principal(Mr.Green) to take care of the return to school.while waiting Ms David entered the office from the door to the right of the seating area,along with 2 other students(female students).my son got up and quickly went to her as she did him.they hugged and proceeded to chat.she said to me"you must be-------- mother"while shaking my hand and behaving like a 13yr old girl.she proceeded to tell me"Its very nice to finally meet you,-------is a good boy and I love him"I returned with the statement"I Love him too".my son said to her"I hear yove been out for a week,I told them it was because I wasnt here"and they all proceeded to laugh.she said"yes thats what it was".all 3 students including my son was making small talk with Ms.David.she proceeded to shake my hand and cuddle the handshake with the other putting it over both mine and her hand and stated"it was very nice to meet you".When she walked away i ask my son"who was that,shes acting like shes dating you and meeting me for the first time".(I met her the day before school started in one of the halls)he responded"thats Ms.David".I said"is that the one the court appointed over the case with you and the other children at court?".and he responded"yes".I told him"that was wierd,she doesnt even look 19,I thought she was a student the way you ran over to her"..thank god above that Mr.Green was ready to proceed with the intake of my son.We live a block from the YMCA and its stated she taught classes there.even though i keep up with my son,he has been mia a couple times and stated that hes just been walking on the railroad tracks.trying to put faith in him but knowing his age..im not so sure I believe him now..HES 15 YEARS OLD AS WELL.Parents plz check your childs phone male or female.DONT LET OUR CHILDREN BE THE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL PREVERTED MEN AND WOMEN IN OUR TOWN.My daughter doesnt go to school here but attends a school in tn...PARENTS PLEASE HELP US ENCOURAGE OUR SCHOOL BOARDS TO TAKE MORE PRECAUTION IN HIRING OUR TEACHERS FOR OUR CHILDRENS PROTECTION!!!!!!!!!!!

I have known Christie since Middle School and she has always been a bubbly person. Just because someone enjoys life and always smiles and hugs everyone doesn't mean they are out prowling the streets. I agree it might be slightly too risky to hug the opposite sex in school especially if you are a teacher but she is a very sweet girl who probably wasn't thinking anything of it. Until all the facts are brought to the table I stand by my opinion that she did not do what she is being accused of and for whatever reason this young man has serious issues that include lying. He's off somewhere getting high- fived by his friends and meanwhile Christie will be slandered for life no matter what. God is the only one who knows the truth. Such a sad day when some kid with nothing better to do can start such an uproar. I think we should all be cautious with our children but gossip is poison and next time you think something negative about someone you DO NOT know remember it could be you. Anyone can start a rumor. Imagine yourself surrounded by people who think no matter what rumors are true and they talk about you behind your back, or gossip in a comment to others or see you smile at someone and automatically think you are having an affair. Christie adores teaching and she does care for her students but she would NEVER do that. I do not care what you or the media thinks. I know she is innocent. End of story.
