Taylor Swift is considered to already have enough experience in the music business that she's being looked on for a role of advisor on the reality show “The Voice.” The job entails coaching the contestants on how to become better musicians, everything from singing to stage presence and outfits.

The news comes via Us Weekly which claims that the 24-year-old singer, who is currently enjoying success in the charts with the single “Shake It Off,” is going to appear on TV and take over the job that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had in season six.

Taylor is going to collaborate with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, who are going to act as judges on the show.

The seventh season of The Voice is scheduled to begin airing on September 22, that is one month before Taylor's new album, “1989,” is supposed to be released. Swift will be joining other advisors on the show such as Stevie Wonder, Gavin Rossdale, Little Big town and Alicia Keys.

Hopefully, Taylor will be able to tone down the controversy factor during her TV appearances, because her “Shake It Off” video has managed to rub many people the wrong way.
