Taylor Swift is a cute doll in the November issue of Glamour, out on newsstands on October 12. In the interview with the mag, Taylor talks love, music and making the latter by drawing inspiration from the former. As it must be known by now, Taylor writes her own lyrics, which makes it so easy for fans all over the world to relate to her. However, her exes would probably disagree.
Though she’s always been tremendously gracious not to speak evil in the press of anyone she’s dated, Taylor has often found a refuge in her music by writing songs about those who broke her heart.
Come to think of it, she says for Glamour, she did it so many times she doesn’t even want to think what may happen should one of these boys ever come up with a response.
“Eventually I’m sure one of them will write a response – that’s a pretty scary concept, actually!” the 20-year-old singer says.
On the bright side, she does have a pretty strong argument in her defense. “But I make sure I only write bad songs about the ones
who deserve it,” Taylor says.
So far, Taylor hasn’t written a song about “Twilight” werewolf Taylor Lautner – and judging by the way she speaks of him, if she ever does, it will be all for the right reasons.
“He’s one of my best friends. He’s wonderful, and we’ll always be close. I’m so thankful for that,” Swift says.
Speaking of drawing inspiration for her music from her love life, the question of whether she’s in love right now was bound to pop up.
“I’ve learned that you can’t predict it or plan for it. For someone like me who is obsessed with organization and planning, I love the idea that love is the one exception to that. Love is the one wild card,” Taylor says, being a bit mysterious about her personal life.
Taylor’s next album is called “Speak Now” and will arrive in music stores on October 25, being poised for greatness, as Will Botwin, president and CEO of Red Light Management and ATO Records, believes.
“She has the sales base and heat from the last few albums. And with all
the amazing things she has going on, she is as likely as anybody to reach a million units, especially with the efforts of Big Machine and Universal behind her,” Botwin said a while back, as we
also reported.
