Just hours ago, young country singer Taylor Swift wrote music history, taking home awards in all four categories she was nominated for at the Country Music Awards, while also becoming the youngest singer to take an Entertainer of the Year award, Reuters reports. Moreover, Taylor managed to keep her speeches short, to the point, funny and, most importantly, uninterrupted, the same media outlet says.

“Teenage singing sensation Taylor Swift claimed a piece of music history on Wednesday when she became the youngest artist ever to win the coveted title of Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards. Swift, 19, also claimed awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year for her song ‘Love Story’ and Album of the Year with ‘Fearless’,” Reuters informs.

Speaking of her “Fearless” album, which was written using as sole inspiration her personal experience, Taylor Swift said she considered it the closest she had to a “personal diary,” so she was extremely happy with people loving her “confessions.” The young singer also admitted she never even dreamed of winning the much-coveted Entertainer of the Year award, for which she had to take down four-time winner Kenny Chesney. Swift is also the first woman to be awarded the accolade since Shania Twain in 1999.

“I will never forget this moment because, in this moment, everything I have ever wanted has just happened to me,” Swift said at one point, before inviting her crew onstage to share the moment with her. “This album is my diary and so, to all the people who voted for me for this, thank you for saying that you liked my diary,” the singer mentioned when accepting the Album of the Year award.

Then, when she walked up on stage for the Female Vocalist of the Year award, she even managed to overcome her emotion to crack a joke. “I just got a hug from Kris Kristofferson! I’m good! I hope you know how much this means to me… And I want to thank every single person in this room tonight for not running onstage during this speech,” Taylor said.
