14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift has always been involved in various charity organizations and campaigns, but she seems to go out of her way to not have the media find out about it. Since she can’t ban cell phones in her presence, her fans can still find out how amazing she is when videos like the one embedded below emerge online.
This is Taylor Swift making a kid’s day, and at the same time, probably putting a smile on yours as well. The boy’s name is Jordan and he’s receiving treatment for cancer at Boston Children’s Hospital. He’s only 7 years old, and as you can see in the video, he had no idea that Taylor was coming to visit.
The singer brought her guitar along, and after talking to Jordan for a bit, she offered to sing for him whatever song he wanted. Jordan the gentleman let her pick.
What followed next was almost too cute to handle: Taylor started singing “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and Jordan sang along, clearly happy with her choice.
The expression on his face when he realizes he knows the song is adorable, as also is his reaction a bit later: “I’m having fun now, right?” he laughs, looking over at his parents.
Say what you will about Taylor Swift and her merits as a vocalist or songwriter or pop star, but she does have a generous heart. If only for that, she deserves credit. Check it out.
