14 DAY TRIAL // Much has been written about Taylor Swift’s love life so it only makes sense for people to be interested in her plans for Valentine’s Day as well. As it turns out, she doesn’t have anything special in mind.
Then again, she’s single, having recently split from Harry Styles, star of One Direction, whom she dated for just a couple of months.
Calling in on Ryan Seacrest to talk about her Grammys Awards 2013 performance this weekend, Taylor also said a few things about her plans for the special day next week.

“I’m probably going to be with my friends or rehearsing,” the singer tells Ryan.
Even though her love life isn’t quite ideal, as she also admitted in a recent interview, Taylor says this past year was her best yet, because she got to go back into the studio to record new music.
Coming out with an album that is different than her previous releases is even better, she says.
“It’s just hands down been the best year. It’s been amazing, it’s been exciting. I got to make a record that’s different than anything I’ve ever done before… the fact I was able to branch out and everybody is embracing it. It feels like the best year I’ve had so far, it’s been wonderful,” she gushes.
In the same interview, Taylor also talks about her upcoming Grammys performance, saying she was very surprised to learn that she would actually be opening the show.
“Like a week ago they call us and are like, ‘Oh, by the way, you’re opening the show.’ It’s not like they approach you… It just surprised me I was going to go first. I figured they liked what we presented so they wanted to put it first, so why overthink it?” she says.
