This time, she’s said to have gotten good friend Lorde, who is not of age yet, drunk at a Golden Globes 2015 afterparty.
Taylor feed Lorde alcohol, got drunk too
This report comes from Star magazine, which cites insiders at the party as saying that Taylor was knocking back one drink after another. Apparently, she peer pressured Lorde to do the same, even though she really didn’t want to.
At one point, the magazine says, Taylor was sipping on rum and coke but she decided she wanted to switch to wine, so she turned to Lorde and started “feeding her rum and coke” to her. Admittedly, she told her 18-year-old friend that she didn’t have to drink if she didn’t want to, but Lorde took a sip and found out she liked it, so she kept at it until she got tipsy.
Taylor too got drunk, the same report would have us believe, because she made the mistake of drinking on an empty stomach. By the time she had some food on her plate, it was already too late and she only picked at it, refusing to eat it.
A mini meltdown at the sight of her ex
Taylor Swift may be young but her dating resume is already very impressive: she’s been linked to Taylor Lautner, John Meyer, Harry Styles and Jake Gyllenhaal, to name just the most famous of them.
One of these exes, Gyllenhaal, was at the same Golden Globes afterparty as Taylor. He attended the gala earlier in the night to support his sister Maggie, but Taylor arrived straight to the party and was hanging out with her girlfriends, Lorde, Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez and Rita Ora.
At one point in the evening, other eyewitnesses have revealed earlier this week, Taylor saw Jake across the room and freaked out: so eager was she to avoid crossing paths with him that she ran into the bathroom and locked herself there, waiting for the danger to pass.
Cara and Rita went in after her and comforted her as she was having a “mini meltdown,” it was said. In the end, Taylor was successful in avoiding the unwanted meeting with Jake.
Taylor and Jake dated for just 3 months about 3 years ago, but he is said to have broken her heart after he dumped her over the phone.
