Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal dated only briefly one year ago but, by all indications, she's still very much smitten with him and, given the way things ended, not able to move on from the heartbreak.

Gossip lovers must know that Jake and Taylor were together for about 3 months, during which time they set plenty of tongues wagging with speculation on whether the age difference wouldn't eventually doom the romance.

However, the many paparazzi shots of the two seemed to hint that they hit it off wonderfully.

Three months later, they were over: Jake reportedly dumped her over the phone.

The latest print issue of Us Weekly (story via here) claims Taylor isn't over Jake just yet. If anything, the short-lived romance turned her world upside down and she's yet to recover.

“She’s haunted by that relationship. He totally screwed with her mind. She doesn’t know how to meet anybody new,” an insider says for the celebrity publication.

She does have one outlet to vent: her music.

Swift, famous for finding inspiration for her music in her personal life and, most specifically, her failed romances, has already penned a few songs based on how things played out with Jake.

“The songs on her next album are intimate and revealing. Some are about Jake,” the tipster dishes.

If so, it wouldn't quite come as a shock considering that Taylor herself was telling Vogue magazine just days ago that it would be a very personal release, inspired partly by a love gone wrong.

“There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak,” she said, without naming names or specific dates, as we also noted at the time.

“And that will turn out to be what the next album is about. The only way that I can feel better about myself – pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone – is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity,” she added.
