14 DAY TRIAL // For years, Taylor Swift’s love life has been tabloid fodder and, as such, subject to a lot of speculation. She’s dated a lot of famous guys and she’s been linked to even more but, for the past few months, Taylor has been alone and the thought is killing her.
Insiders say for the latest print issue of Star Magazine that the pop country singer has been very depressed because she’s realized she can’t hold on to a man for longer than a few months. She desperately wants to be in a relationship and not being able to make it work is making her think she’s just like Jennifer Aniston.
For the record, Aniston is now engaged to Justin Theroux and, before that, she was married to Brad Pitt for several years. However, the glossies would have you believe, Jennifer has a real problem in picking the man she dates but particularly in the fact that she’s too “clingy,” for which reason her relationships never last.
Taylor is “in a deep depression over her single status. She’s incredibly down. She just can’t seem to find the right guy,” the insider tells the mag, as cited by Gossip Cop. This e-zine denies the story, citing a source close to Taylor.
“She said, ‘I just don’t get it. Why can’t I keep a guy? I feel like I’m turning into Jennifer Aniston. It’s just so unfair’,” Swift is reportedly telling her friends when she’s feeling particularly down.
Taylor’s biggest problem right now isn’t just that she can’t keep a guy but rather that her reputation is now preceding her and she can’t even get a date with someone whom she fancies, because it’s enough to hear her name to make them run for their life.
“Jared Leto ran for the hills after she chatted him up at a Golden Globes after party; Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel hasn’t called her back after they went to a New Year’s Eve party together; and actor Douglas Booth totally brushed her off at a West Hollywood bash last November,” the insider continues.
“Even when she puts herself out there, no one seems interested! She’s brooding and feeling incredibly down,” the spy says.
She is probably yet to meet her Justin Theroux.
