Taylor Swift Is Dating Zac Efron

Taylor Swift may have had a lot of heartbreak in the past, but that's not to say she's lost all hope in love. In fact, recent reports suggest she might have actually found a new man: her longtime, good friend Zac Efron.

Efron has been officially single since breaking up from his girlfriend and Disney co-star Vanessa Hudgens, making headlines mostly for his efforts on getting his acting career off the ground outside of Disney productions.

Taylor too is single at the moment, at least as far as the press knows. She hasn't seen anyone serious since the Jake Gyllenhaal debacle.

They could be dating right now, Us Weekly says. The two were spotted together out for dinner, looking very flirty and couple-y, unnamed insiders reveal for the celebrity publication.

“On Jan. 6, the New Year's Eve hunk, 24, had a flirty dinner with the country superstar, 22 sharing an outdoor corner table at LA Italian eatery Pace,” Us writes.

“Efron and the unlucky-in-love Swift 'were deep in conversation and very giggly,' a fellow diner tells the new Us Weekly of the pair, who arrived together in Efron's Audi. (Earlier in the week, the twosome supped at Pace with fellow phenom Justin Bieber.)” the same publication says.

That they like each other is a well-known fact, Us further reports. In 2009, Zac described Taylor as a “lovely girl, very beautiful,” and she returned the compliment by saying he was an “all-around amazing guy.”

Not only are they good friends, but they've also worked together on a new film, which is believed to have been the place where they became even closer than before.

A source close to the country pop singer, though, warns that appearances can be deceiving – and this is definitely the case with her so-called new romance.

“They were in LA doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner. They have been friends a long time. Taylor thinks Zac's cute…[but] they are on totally different wavelengths,” says the insider.

Still, if they are truly dating as the report claims, Zac should probably be careful: Taylor has a reputation of writing songs about all her exes, particularly not favorable for those who break her heart.
