14 DAY TRIAL // Right now, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are broken up but, considering their tumultuous past, no one would be surprised if they got back together again. This is the last thing that Taylor Swift, a good friend of Selena’s, wants.
New reports cited by The Huffington Post claim that Taylor pretty much “hates” Justin at this point and it’s driving her and Selena apart.
Many of those who saw Taylor’s disgusted reaction at the Billboard Music Awards 2013, when Selena and Justin kissed on the mouth in front of her, have been speculating about this ever since.
An insider confirms that this is really the case: Taylor can’t stand Justin and would do anything to make Selena understand she doesn’t belong with him.
“Taylor hates [Bieber]. She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him. Bieber has really come between the girls,” says a spy, refusing to go on the record with a name.
“Bieber and Gomez have had an on-again, off again relationship for months, and Swift has reportedly made it no secret that she thinks Gomez is way out of Bieber's league,” the aforementioned publication writes.
Not only is she yet to see the results of her efforts, but Taylor has actually had to stand by and watch Selena go back to Justin time and time again – only to have her heart broken.
To make matters even worse, with every “I told you so,” Taylor is pushing Selena away.
“The last time the couple broke up, Swift was so worried that Gomez would cave and rekindle her relationship with Bieber that she called her up to 10 times a day, and set her up with other friends to keep her busy while she was away on tour,” HuffPost writes.
“In recent weeks, there were rumors that Swift was a no-show at Gomez's 21st birthday party because Bieber was on the invite list,” adds the report.
A rep for the country singer has labeled all claims of a possible feud pure fabrications.
