14 DAY TRIAL // Taylor Swift went on vacation with friends and the hackers got busy with her Twitter and Instagram accounts, hijacking them to ask for money from fans who could be deceived into believing they had nude photos of her.
As it turns out, if you were among them, there are no such photos, as Taylor made it very clear the moment she regained control over her own accounts. However, the hackers did leak something online, though it’s nothing she can be ashamed of.
Spotless image, spotless life
Taylor Swift seems to be the kind of girl you want to take home to your parents and know that no matter what she says or does could make them give you “the look”: she’s smart and funny, talented and good looking, and seems like she has nothing to hide, no dirty secret in the closet.
In an industry in which even teen Disney stars (Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, etc.) do drugs, drink and have leaked photo scandals, that’s pretty much unheard of.
Further confirming online speculation that Taylor is as “good” a girl as she seems to be and that she spends most of her time making jam (with or without Ed Sheeran), playing with her kittens, knitting and hanging out with her girlfriends talking fashion, the leaked private messages with her celebrity friends are 100 percent vanilla.
Whereas any other celebrity would have been embarrassed, Taylor actually gets to walk out of this with her head held very high: her exchanges with Nick Jonas, musician BØRNS and YouTube video game commenter PewDiePie are cute and polite chats, packed with whale puns and setting up dates.

In his most recent interview with Billboard, DJ Diplo has revealed that Taylor is “very strategic” with both her friends and enemies, and that contrary to reports, they are friends, not rivals. He also jokes that she conducts her business with an iron hand and is in complete control, which enables her to share only the things she wants to share with the public.
This leak proves that this is really so: Taylor Swift either doesn’t have anything to hide, or she has and she is smarter than to confide her secrets to social media, because she knows her celebrity status makes her a very easy target.
Taylor Swift is one of the few celebrities to manage a smooth transition to adulthood without going through a major scandal: she’s private yet popular, famous but discreet, sexy but not in a bad way. She is in complete control of her brand and image, and proof that you can have privacy even in this day and age.
She also has a very healthy sense of humor, as her response to the hacking shows.
