14 DAY TRIAL // A little over a year ago, celebrity pundits and gossip lovers would talk a lot (and snicker) about Taylor Swift’s habit of pretending she was amazed by winning at awards shows, even at those she was a sure winner. She had worked on and perfected a “oh my God I’ve won”-face shtick that she would always use, and people gave her hard time about it.
In 2013, at the American Music Awards, when Justin Timberlake won, he broke out the same “surprised” gestures and mocked her. Luckily, Taylor has a very healthy sense of humor, so she joined in on the fun, and the moment went viral.
The other night at the iHeartRadio Awards 2015, Taylor won again with “Blank Space.” She happened to be seated at the same table as Justin, and what followed next was as awkward as it was hilarious: Justin jumped up from his seat screaming in disbelief, acting as if his name had been called out.
Still sitting down, Taylor was acting the same way.
Eventually, as this Tumblr video confirms, she got up on stage and thanked the fans for making it possible for her to continue doing what she loves most in life: write lyrics.
